Terms & Conditions
As a member of the Swiss Mountain Guides Association, I work according to the specified General Conditions of Contract for Swiss Mountain Guides (AGB) which is recognised as part of the contract between the client and the mountain guide. The terms and conditions can be viewed on the Internet www.4000plus.ch/fileadmin/user_upload/Tarif-AVB-Auftragsbestaetigung/AVB-CG061120.pdf or will be given to the guest by the mountain guide on request.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation, Art. 12 AVB applies and in particular Art. 12.3 AGB regarding the obligation to pay the appropriate costs in case of cancellation by the guest.
60 -31 days from the start of the tour 25% of the fee
30 -11 days from the start of the tour 50% of the fee
10 – 0 days from the start of the tour 100% of the fee
Insurance
The mountain guide has professional liability insurance in accordance with Article 5.1 AVB.
The guest must have a valid health and accident insurance and it is also recommended to have cancellation insurance.
Security
The mountain guide maintains high professional standards of client care and safety in the mountains. However, the mountains are dangerous places, and these dangers cannot always be foreseen. When making a booking, the client acknowledges and accepts these risks and must be responsible for their own actions and involvement. To implement a safe tour the client must inform the mountain guide of any physical and / or mental health issues and they must follow the mountain guides instructions at all times.
